I know it’s horrible having to wait all this time 😅 I already did the scheme for my uni course in Spain around two years ago and I heard the 26th of April then, so it could really be any day now 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes hopefully soon - I’ve heard anything from end of April to mid May but the wait is beginning to feel so long now! Did you enjoy the scheme when you want to Spain?

Yeah I really liked it! I did get put in a smallish town and the transport wasn’t the greatest so hoping I’ll get put in the city this time round. One thing I’d say before is save as much money as possible before you can! There’s often a bit of a delay in them processing your pay just cause you have to arrive before they can start doing the paperwork, so make sure you have enough to possibly pay for rent n stuff. I also got put near Valencia that’s known for the worst processing time and I actually didn’t get paid till December/January time 🥲 That’s my biggest thing I say to people cause it can put people in tricky situations and I don’t think the BC talk about it enough

Good luck to you too! I know it’s taking a while 😅 but don’t give up hope, even if you’re unsuccessful they still have to send you an email declaring it so see that you’ve heard nothing as a possible good sign. They also said that even if you get shortlisted they exhaust it most years so you still have a good chance of going

Yesss, its for my year abroad )) I lowkey wish I put bordeaux first now cos I rly wanna go there. What did you pick for your first option?

My first option is Montpellier! I wanted to go somewhere a i’ve never been before and I’ve not explored the south of France much and I’ve never been to Montpellier so hopefully I get it!! I’ve been to Bordeaux, it’s absolutely gorgeous, some of the best best food in France and just overall a lovely place! Never been to Lille but heard great things!

Montpellier is lovely too, if you like Bordeaux, then you’ll also enjoy it ☺️
