Cognito is the best resource and do past papers. On cognito just do the lessons

Hi @nanaa_1x

One way that I revised for GCSE science was going through the specification and making concise notes on each point of it. This ensured that I had strong subject knowledge. Another thing that I did was spend a lot of time answering exam questions as this helped me to improve my exam technique and maximise the number of marks I got on each question.

Hope that helps!

Hi! @nanaa_1x
I appreciate revising for GCSEs can seem overwhelming so here are some tips that helped me. I still use these for science revision at university and they're applicable for most subjects!

Brain dumps - this is good for knowing what you know. What I do is just write down everything you know about a particular topic on a blank piece of paper from memory. Then in a different coloured pen, add anything you have forgotten. Keep repeating this until you don't forget anything.

Spaced repetition - this just means that when you learn a topic you keep revisiting it so it stays in your long term memory. This can be in the form of flashcards, Seneca, brain dumps or any method that you find works well for you.

Use YouTube for anything you don't understand! There are tons of channels that are useful for GCSE science such as Freescienceslessons.

Past papers - Use these to your advantage so you know what the examiners are looking for in answers. The important part is the marking - be harsh with the marking so you become more aware of key phrases/sentences you have to include for full marks.

I'd highly recommend you understand 80% or more of the syllabus before you start attempting lots and lots of past papers.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions! 🙂
