Questions about accommodation & conditional offer

Hello all!

I'm a prospective international undergraduate student who has received a conditional offer from the Electronics and Computer Engineering (H655) department.

I'm studying through the AP curriculum (US-based) in an international school in South Korea. My conditional offer requires me to get a 5 on an AP Calculus exam, but they have not clarified which score they will accept. I'm currently taking AP Calculus BC (equivalent to Calculus 2 in uni), and my exam will be in May. However, this exam gives two scores: a Calc BC score (1-5) and a Calc AB (1-5) subscore (Calc AB is equivalent to Calculus 1 in uni). I was wondering if I need to get a 5 on the BC exam or if getting a 5 as an AB subscore is enough. I'm extremely new to the UK system, as a lot of people from my school go to the States, and I'm a bit worried about conditional offers.

Secondly, I want to firm Sheffield. However, the University of Bristol is taking a long time to get back to me (they said they would look over my application again). I can't firm a university in UCAS until I get all 5 offers, and I'm worried about not finding housing. I would like to get an en-suite accomodation in a pretty social area. I was wondering how quickly these dorms would be gone- and how I could get my hands on one before they're gone.

Lastly, I'd love to make some friends who are also going to Uni of Sheffield! Please feel free to message me or whatever

I firmed sheffield a few days ago. There's still a tonne of en suites left, at least in endcliffe and radmoore where most 1st years seem to be, finding shared bathroom accommodations are hard though. (coming from someone who literally had to make a script to ensure they manage to get a shared accom). they also release rooms in batches, so there's new listings every now and again. Youll be fine. Hope to see next year, good luck!
