how are you revising for it especially sappho and ovid

Hey! I do that paper too :p:

I find that going through and planning a past paper, or set of questions, at the start of my revison session, then going back over what I didn't know is the best method for revising everything on the paper. Instead of revising content then planning, I find blind planing the questions (so doing it in exam conditions without my notes) then using my resources to see what needs to be recaped is the best method.

If you don't feel like planning whole quetsions, blurting a part of the spec is a good way to see what you don't understand aswell!

Even if you feel that you don't know anything, blurting and blind planning will show that you have retainded some of what you have learned, and also show what you need to focus on. After a couple days of doing this you will hopefully see improvement in what you have remembered and understood.

Good luck!

I have an inkling that for Greek Religion it might be on the Ninnion Tablet. It's like one of the only sources left that they haven't used

Sappho and Ovid are my strongest on the paper tbh, I need to revise the philosophers now so I really know them well. Honestly I love learning quotes to help me revise and I had a Love and Relationships paper earlier this year which I revised sm for so I now have like 60 Ovid quotes, 60 Sappho quotes and 20 scholars for each that I just know (defo need to rerevise them before the paper though) - and I know the context of them which helps me understand their views/different themes in their work so I just work from my knowledge of those! You don't have to use quotes I don't think, it's just how I like to revise  and then I also revised/learnt context of their work/definitions and terms that I can use in exams too.

do you have flashcards for quotes/scholars for L&R?

2024 had a 30 marker on the Eleusinian Mysteries. I think the source will either be the red-figure plaque depicting the cult of Eleusis or the Ninnion Tablet, or it could be the Acropolis. As for other themes, the only remaining things that haven't been brushed upon in any previous years were:

Anthropomorphism and the scope of their power

The role and nature of hero cults

Panhellenic, localised or personal

Religious authority + impiety

Links between politics and religion

Why rituals were performed

Priests and Priestesses

Role of libations + votive offerings

Socrates' ideas on the divine + justice

Radical/controversiality of Socrates

Please, anyone correct me if I have any of these wrong or I am missing any, but there were the ones I found not to be used in past papers + remembering from 2024 (i sat them as mocks)

ninnion tablet did come up in 2019 but they've been repeated loads of similar questions from them having removed the papers from the website so worth having a look if you have access to it. i think the markscheme can be found online.
