Extension on acceptance
Hi, I have recieved an offer from Uni of Strathclyde, and they have mentioned that I can ask for an extension on the deadline to accept or decline the offer.
Has anyone ever asked for an extension? Do they usually agree on extensions ? Any help is appreciated!

Hi Anon! Which course is it you've applied to? If you asked for extra time to decide and the department has granted this then that will be ok - just let them know you're taking the additional time 🙂

Hello! Thank you for your reply.
It is the architecture department. I haven’t asked for the extension yet. Unsure of whether I must give a fixed date or they have a final date ?
I wouldn’t want this to negatively impact my offer. I appreciate the acceptance but just need some extra time !

Hello! If you've applied through UCAS and have received all of your offers then you'll have until 5th June to decide.
If you've applied directly to a course via our webiste then email [email protected] 🙂 Deadlines may vary depending on what you've applied for. They may be able to offer an extention if you need it - but asking for one won't negatively impact your application.
