Warwick

Hey everyone,

Back in February, Warwick requested some documents. I sent all of them and even included a few extra documents I thought might be relevant. On February 25, I emailed them to confirm whether they had received everything correctly and if they needed anything else. I never received a response.

Then, on March 12, they requested additional documents — the same ones I had already submitted the first time. I still sent all four documents again that same day. I received an automatic email confirmation stating that the documents were received, but I haven’t heard anything since.

Now, on April 14, I received another email asking for the same documents again, even though I’ve already sent them twice. The message even said:

“Final reminder – if you don’t send the requested documents within 7 days, your application will be marked as unsuccessful.”

I’m really frustrated because I submitted everything weeks ago and haven’t heard anything since. Has this happened to anyone else?

It’s now April 15, and I’ve been waiting for ages for any update to my application. Should I email them again or just wait, as I uploaded the documents again yesterday?

Hi there,

This is very odd. Are you 100% sure you have uploaded them in the right place? For example, was it via email or on some kind of Warwick-specific application tracker? If I were you I would email them again but also, phone them up and see if you can get through to someone from Admissions. This might give you a quicker answer.

I uploaded the documents via a link in their email, and I’m almost 100% sure I did it right; I don’t think I would have received the automated “information received” email otherwise. But thank you for the suggestion, I’ll try contacting them again by phone this time.

I phoned their undergraduate admissions, and they confirmed that they’ve received everything and that my application is still under review. I don’t have much hope anymore since it’s been so long, but I’ll wait and see for now. 🥲
