Manchester Uni v Reading Uni

Hi,

I’m currently holding offers from the above unis for MSc Real Estate Finance & Investment and MSc Real Estate Finance.

Does anyone have any course experience at either Uni they can share.

I’m undecided about which one to pick. Reading seems to be the best for real estate specifically, but Manchester is obviously a much more well-known, respected name. I also live and work in Manchester so logistically it makes more sense. Plus its 4 grand cheaper.

Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Realistically, just go to Manchester. Living at home and saving the money on the tuition is worth it, and realistically its a masters, the 'name' isnt particularly important. A lot of job apps these days are anonymous anyhow.

Hi @Sam Dexter

I hope you're well!

It is great to hear that you are considering Reading! Unfortunately I don't know much about that course, but if you have any questions about student life or the local area then please just let me know.

You can't go too wrong with anything from Manchester university, Reading is ok too but the former is a very attractive offer indeed what with you already living there, its cheaper .
