no that’s if ur investigating how temperature affects rate of respiration which it wasn’t. the improvement would just be to include a control with the same set up but no maggots

so since we aren’t investigating how temperature affects respiration of the maggots, we have to keep it constant as a control variable to make the investigation fair

what did u guys get for rate of decay or smt where u had to give it to nearest whole number

for the glucose test i wrote turns green would that be okay... ,, also for the graph what did people plot on x and y axis? 1st 6 marker i yapped about the spike and normal person blood glucose goes back to normal after an hour while diabetic took 5 hours and food intake/fast period and i explained about diabetic having no reaction to insulin etc. and for the 2nd 6 marker i wrote about hypothalamus detects higher water so less ADH and then less permeable kidney wall so less water absorbed and more waste water in urine/ urine becomes more diluted so body can lose excess water i also mentioned to prevent cell lysis and stuff just in case. also for the menopause question what did people write-- i did figure decreases and then i explained magnitude of decreases just in case

I put green as well as red, but they should give either one for 1 mark. I also put the temperature on the X axis.

I mixed up the negative feedback for the last question and said that more ADH is released and the collecting duct becomes more permeable and my answer had all the content but I’m not sure how many marks I would get for mixing it up? I assumed the answer I wrote would be capped at 4 marks (level 2)?

i did the exact same thing !! :frown:
