cramming

hey everyone,

i am a gcse student and i currently take
english lit and lang (eduqas)
higher combined science (aqa)
maths higher (aqa)
french higher (aqa)
business studies (aqa)
psychology (ocr)
(and photography but that’s only coursework)

i was wondering if anyone had any last minute revision tips for any of the subjects i take. i feel quite behind in all of them so some cramming is needed.

i feel like i really struggle with knowing how and what to revise, like the steps or process i should follow to ensure effective revision. the thing is there’s obviously not much time left until gcses so i need some quick fixes.

any help would be appreciated thankyouuu

What I find helpful is making a video/presentation on why you HATE or love something. I made a video on why I hated this guy in history (just for fun) and the facts have really stuck with me. Try to make it as funny/entertaining as possible (whilst staying to the facts) it will help you remember it and have fun. For instance, with your english lit you could make a video on why you love a certain character in the book etc. This allows you to collate information on them and then remember it in a fun way. It also goes into your long term memory rather than your short term memory

for maths use corbettmaths so this is the link with all of the topics https://corbettmaths.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Edexcel-Higher-Checklist.pdf then since there's not much time watch the videos see how he does the first equation then try the next then do a paper see how much you can do after you do like ten topics, next paper next ten topics
