Hi everyone I wonder if you may have any information about the areas of placement also I want to ask about uniforms if the University provides them or you need to afford it.

The university will provide you with student nurse uniform (tunics and trousers).

Hiya

As far as I know you'll be under the forth valley health board area which means your hospital placements will be at Falkirk royal infirmary, Stirling infirmary, forth valley hospital at larbert , Clackmannanshire, boness and any community placements you'll be working in local GP surgeries.

You'll be asked to order your uniform either prior to you starting in September or doing it when you start university and it will be sent to either your current living address or to Stirling university itself. Stirling university will provide your uniform on behalf of NHS Scotland and you will get a opportunity to buy some extra uniforms yourself as university will guide you on how to do that on the university website.

Student uniform is a light greyish/silver tunic with royal navy blue trims and trousers are navy blue - you are supplied with three sets which has to last you the duration of your three years as a student nurse. Follow the uniform policy for any issues regarding bodily fluids etc.

I have a friend who works with forth valley health board so that how I know.
