Leodis or James Baillee? + General UoL accom help!

I have just firmed University of Leeds and I am thinking about what accommodation to apply for! I think my top two at the moment are Leodis and James Baillee, could anyone help me make my decision? I am also wondering if either are oversubscribed and what my best bet is in that sense because I do not want to risk being put somewhere I don’t want to be because of this when I could have applied to somewhere less popular I do want to be if that makes sense! Also anyone who has applied for accom this year can you pick your flat and see the ages/gender of people in it at Leeds? I have friends applying for accom at other unis who could see this. Thanks!!

Hi, I have applied for James Baillee. You can’t really pick but your can put down your preference e.g like if you want just female in your flat or say if you have dietary preferences etc. But you aren’t told the ages of people and I don’t think you know what accom you get till after results day. I haven’t many people applying to either of these so I would pick the one you want the most.

generally james bailie isn't oversubscribed !! my friend and i both applied for carlton hill (but it's prioritised for international and older students i think) so we didn't get in. she got placed in james bailie and i got placed in cityside. it's only around 10-15 mins walk from uni so the distance is very manageable! also equidistant from both aldi and morrisons supermarkets, with plenty of smaller express shops around the uni campus area

How did you apply for the accommodation?

Once you firmed you will have a student number log onto accomodation and register and choose.
