Mitigating circumstance- Loughborough

Does anyone knows what happens if you don't submit a mitigating circumstance for a module you've failed.

Assuming this is the first time you've failed the module, then you'll be given an opportunity to be re-assessed for it. This will happen in late August or early September.

It depends. If you've gotten minimum performance (at least 30%), you may be allowed to progress. If not, you will need to resit. This can be during the SAP (special assessment period) as DataVenia has correctly said, or you can resit it next year (but you cannot do next year's modules at the same time).

You will be emailed by the programme admin team to discuss your options. This was something covered in the regulations talk just after the christmas break though, did you not attend that?
