Medicine entry requirements

So I've been looking at requirements for medicine and one of the things that was flagged was GCSE scores. I'm currently retaking maths because I didn't get a 6
I got 77766655 so if let's say I didn't get the grade for one them ( physics I got a 5)
Would I not be qualified to do medicine or do I have to do a gateway year ( please I need help)?

I think definitely foundation year. Most of the 5 year courses you pretty much need all 7-9 to be considered competitive, if the uni looks at GCSEs. And if they don’t rank you based on GCSEs, they usually still want at least 6x 6s including the three sciences (or double science) and english and maths.
Grades for foundation year courses are lower though so you might be fine with those GCSE grades. Good luck!
