Home educated dependant

I am completing the parent section to support my child's loan application and am stuck on the question regarding dependants in education. We have a disabled dependant son, home educated, aged 16. The option is either 'at school or studying alevels in college' or 'not in education' They don't fit neatly in either bracket and don't want to get it wrong. Can anyone advise? Thank you

Hi there, you can select any option and then just upload a cover letter to your account explaining your son's disability and being home educated. This will ensure the assessors update this accordingly for you.

You can upload evidence and forms by going to the 'Manage your student finance' section in the sidebar on the right of your screen. You will then see a link to 'Upload supporting evidence' and can use this to send us your evidence/form.

Thanks, Jason

Thank you so much. That's really helpful. I will do that cover letter and upload it. I hadn't noticed there was somewhere else I could add this. Much appreciated.
