heyyyy french gannggggg!!!!

just wondering bcI noticed the exam was 1hr 10min, for anyone who actually has done the mock in the full time (cos we haven't really before for writing at least) do you have like a lot of spare time left because I cant lie when ive done practises i dont think I'm doing enough writing to be filling that time up 😭 also im cooked :smile:

yh i always have so much spare time for writing. i never run out of time for french.

i did some subjects a year early, that's why i only do 7 this year. btw, how are you revising for french writing? do you think it's a good idea to memorise lots of vocab

WOAHHHH, THAT'S SO INTERESTING IVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE DO IT LIKE THAT BEFORE! but for french i was acc just telling someone else lol, but i still am pretty lost

for now though, what i've done is i've watched these two videos and made notes, I genuinely think theyre pretty helpful but it does depend on what you need i suppose. Also, the thing about vocab, i don't know whether im the right person to ask cos its defo worth knowing loads of vocab but at this stage im gonna just get the vocab that is most like useful for me or I'm most likely gonna use, and mainly like look at all the good expressions n stuff more heavily tbh i feel like you'll find you know more vocab than u think but thats just my perspective and opinion lol, do whatever you want obvs

also jsut remmebered but remmeber to go over your tenses for sure, and maybe write one for your teacher to mark before your exam? it's what i've done so u can maybe get feedback

probably a bit late but just spam vocab on quizlet and learn your tenses and practice translations

I think it was okay, the 150 worders were a bit weird, the 90 worders were nice and the translation was a bit random. I enjoyed it! French finished forever!!!

Somehow I ended up saying that my college helped homeless and unemployed people by making me and my friends swim at a gala *

I did that one as well, I said my school gave clothes to the homeless and we did 3 months of volunteering. Then I said I would like to send food to Africa next year. So it was okay in my opinion.

did u do 1.1? I wrote about my pen pal sending me a letter saying he was being sent to live with his grand parents because his mother is unemployed and has become an addict 😭
