a-level choices

hi, so i applied to my sixth forms with the subjects english literature, psychology and economics. i'm set on english literature and the course for psychology has always intrigued me. economics is a balance between english and maths (both which i like), but i've been contemplating changing economics for maths. i'm better at english than i am maths, and i've been thinking about taking the accounting route. obviously english, economics and maths would be ideal -- but i do truly like psychology -- i was wondering if i should just stick with my choices or change subjects, or maybe take an epq.

my predicted grades:
999887775 (9 in both english's and 8 in maths)

If you’re considering someone in accounting then maths is a good idea. You could also take an epq on an econ related topic.

Yes thats what id suggest 🙂 I advise checking some uni requirements to be sure but from my experience i think its generally the case that econ/finance/accounting type degrees require a level maths and for top unis they ask for fm. Most will say you dont have to have studied econ before but check that for specific unis youre interested in/ a range of unis to see if thats the case for the kind of courses youre interested in. Doing the econ epq would give you amble experience of the subject to discuss on your personal statement.
