PIP special support loan
Hi, I have received PIP since last year, however it was approved after I applied for student finance. I can see they have added my special support loan for 25/26 but I never got any extra during 24/25 despite adding the pip entitlement letter at the same time as I did for the following academic year. The letter covers entitlement for 3 years starting august 2024. In my account it does not say reviewing evidence so it looks like it has only been factored in for next academic year, but not 24/25?

Hi there, you can contact us to check to see if this was reviewed under the 24/25 application, if it has not been, you can request a review for the Special Support Element on the 24/25 application by sending a cover letter with supporting evidence. The deadline of applying 9 months from the start of the academic year applies. You can contact us over the phone (0300 100 0607) or via live chat.
