It depends on the level of revision that you do, tbf and practice. With the 2024 grade boundaries and needing 136 marks to get a B, is not too bad, but idk it's not impossible tho so have some faith😁! And are you also doing English, I'm guessing? if so me too twin

I had that question in my Feb mocks. The highest mark for that was 1 out of 6 so if that kind of question comes again I will genuinely cry.

More application questions is actually scary but hopefully that shouldn't affect our year. Regarding what might come up, have you seen this video done by Ms Estruch (it's basically a data analysis of all of the paper 1s and explains what topics frequently come up, what topics haven't come up in a while and any practical skills you may need to think about. The best part is she's done that for papers 2 and 3 as well.)

any predictions? I think there will be some stuff on muscle contraction and neuronal control. bro i need to learn the neuronal pathways (parasympathetic etc) 😭😭

Reply 11

I'm not sure but I think something to do with neuronal control will be there because it didn't come up at all for last year. Muscle contraction is my nemesis at this point bc I can never do the exam questions on it even when I know the content 😭

Does anyone know if Mrs Estruch is accurate in terms of her predictions?

I don't know for sure. In her videos she said it's not really a prediction and it's just what she found out when analysing past papers. I wouldn't take it as a prediction saying this topic is definitely going to come up. Instead it's just revise all of the topics but make sure you know these specific topics inside out as they've historically come up quite a lot.

Hopefully that helped.

Does any one also know if Claire Biology is also accurate in terms of her predictions?
