Uni accomodation terms

I've been offered a uni accomodation room, and the offer expires in a couple days, to accept the offer I need to accept the terms, and it says that after accepting the terms ur legally bound to pay, what happens if I accept and then I don't get into the uni, will I still need to pay even though I'm not living there? This is for uni of nottingham

You might be better off reading the terms more checking for what happens if you accept your place but don't get into the university. In the alternative, I'd recommend contact the housing department of Uni of Nottingham and ask them! You'll get a more precise reply than what someone here may give you

Yeah I've read them, it doesn't mention anything around the conditions of my offer or it being subject to me meeting them, so I wasn't sure

You also have the right to cancel this Agreement without penalty if:
You do not meet the terms of your offer to study with Us;
You defer your place to study with Us to the following academic year; or
You are unable to obtain a visa to study in the United Kingdom

I found this in the 2024/25 Halls Agreement, I'd guess something similar to this would be in your agreement?

Yeah appreciate you I saw this I think its for Catered accommodation but theres no reason itd be different for self catered, and I saw the guaranteed accommodation program on their website which states it as well, thanks again
