Using ChatGPT to mark essays

Hi!
I have wrote a few essays for English Literature recently and need them marked but I don’t want to overload my teacher with essays over the holidays. Is it worth getting ChatGPT to mark my work for a rough estimated mark/grade so that I know I’m at least on the right track? Does anyone know how reliable ChatGPT would be to mark an essay? Thank you!

i think it should be fine! i use chat gpt to mark some of my practice essays and they can give a rough mark/grade. it’s quite helpful as it can show you what you need to include and what you did well. for history, my friend got chatgpt to mark her essay and then asked the teacher to mark and it was the same exact mark. obviously since the subjects here are essay based, the mark you receive will be dependent on teacher or examiner. just don’t be too reliant on what mark chatgpt gives you as it is an ai and not a human - it could also give you a mark that isn’t totally reflective of what you would get in an exam
