course struggle for yr12 a level gal!

hi!! i was wondering whether anyone has any advice to offer. I'm a yr12 gal studying biology, psychology, and English literature. i originally started off with 4 a levels but dropped chemistry due to struggles and bad teachers :/ I so desperately wanted to go study medicine but since I no longer have chemistry, its a real struggle to find unis out there that would take me. i aspire for the best, but so far only manchester and Newcastle uni stick out for me! can anyone offer any advice as to what to do??? shall I give up on medicine and pursue something else??? or take a gap year? thxxx!
I believe there are 30 or more UK unis which offer medicine without chemistry a level. There’s also some unis which offer foundation years for medicine.

I think whether you decide to carry on pursuing medicine depends on how passionate you are about it, and for a competitive course like med you have to be very passionate! Id look into whether med schools would accept you if you took a gap year and studied chem (not sure how they view this and whether its seen as positive or negative on applications).

Even if a Med course doesn't 'require' Chemistry A level, just be aware that its a fundamental part of Medicine.
If you struggle with Chemistry, or 'don't like it', are you are going to be able to cope with the course, and the eventual career?

Remember that there are numerous other ways of working in Healthcare - everything from Audiology and Dietetics to Public Health - Explore roles | Health Careers - or there are other ways of 'working in Medicine' - Medical Assistant | Royal Navy Jobs | Surface Fleet

Or, there are routes to STEM degrees for those with good grade expectations but in the 'wrong' subjects. One example from Southampton Science Foundation Year | University of Southampton - and there are other similar courses at Nottingham, and Leeds.
