bath clearing chemical eng

I really regret not applying to bath for chemical engineering - what are the chances it might be in clearing this year or any other courses at bath similar.

Unfortunately, whether any course is in Clearing at any particular uni is unknowable. Not even the unis themselves will know until results day (well, a few days before). It's only then that they'll know how many offer-holders have met their offer grades, and therefore how many spaces (if any) they still need to fill.

Unis will often fill some places with offer-holders who've just missed their offer grades, but if they still have spaces left they'll typically open the course to Clearing. Obviously nobody knows now how well offer-holders will do - hence why nobody knows what will be in Clearing and what won't be.

Hiya!

Sorry to hear that you're regretting your decision. As mentioned above, it's basically impossible to predict what courses will be in clearing each year. Last year, both chemical engineering and chemistry were available through clearing so there is a chance they'll be available again but it's not definite.

It's definitely worth checking what's available when you get your results, but I would recommend not getting your hopes up too high in case it's not an option.

Let me know if I can help with anything else

Chem Eng often is in Clearing at Bath - and you can check Bath's clearing vacancies on their website the evening before Results Day.
