Congrats on your offers! Hard decision, but personally I’d go for Durham as it’s mostly English Law they teach there whereas Edinburgh LLB teach a majority of Scottish Law but it obviously depends if it’s Scottish or English law you want to practice? Whatever you choose, they’re both fantastic unis! All the best.

If you’re looking to practice in London afterwards, then you can either take 3 years for your LLB at Durham, or 4 years doing the wrong type of law at Edinburgh+ 1 year doing a PGDL conversion course, making it 5 years before you even start SQE prep if you’re going down solicitor route, and same amount of time for barrister.
Edinburgh is great, but it makes no sense if you’re trying to practice in England/ Wales in a smaller amount of time.
