If you have no preference then due to the unis grade requirements it has to be UCL and LSE as insurance. It wouldn't make any sense to put AAA as firm and A*AA as insurance!

I love how all the advice on this thread was to firm UCL and you did the exact opposite 😆 LSE will definitely provide a different university experience than UCL as it is a smaller university with less diverse subject areas. But if that's what you want, then I can understand it.

All the best with your A-levels!!!

Thanks!! Given that i want to go into finance (probably) - i feel like LSE has that extra edge.. also my ucl offer is higher (which doesn’t make sense to insure it ngl) but i feel like ill end up making lse HOPEFULLY.

really good choice, both unis are great but LSE will definetly give you that edge to employers, and its a entry requirement for a better uni.

I know someone who put an insurance that was the same grade requirements as their firm, they missed their offer, then only the insurance accepted their mitigating circs. So not as straightforward as you might think, still worth.

My other option would have been insuring Bristol which is also aaa, but Bristol is in clearing for the course i applied to (econ and management), so worse case scenario, which i hope wont happen, i will just go through clearing
