should i move accomodation?

i recently booked into an apartment of 6 and the other 2 people are crazy party people (there’s only 3 of us currently). i just feel like we don’t get along at all when chatting to them on socials. they’re bios gave me the impression they were staying in at night.
there very lovely people but we don’t have much in common. i can easily switch but i feel kind of bad..

Hi @anonymous #1 , you don't need to feel bad for shifting accommodation, you are the one paying. I'll recommed to move to another place, so your studies are not affected.

Hope everything turns out well:smile:

Hi Anon,
Definitely- if you're someone who prefers a quieter environment or is really focused on your studies, being in a flat where the vibe doesn’t match can start to take a toll! - Partying isn’t a bad thing, but if it’s not your scene, there’s no harm in switching to a place that better suits your lifestyle. (: You want your accommodation to feel like a space where you can relax, recharge, and stay focused when you need to. You’re not being difficult- it’s just about making sure your environment works for you!

Hi there,

Please do not feel bad! If you have the option to switch to a better environment, you might as well do it. There is nothing personal in desiring a quieter environment for yourself, where you will be able to focus better and avoid unnecessary stress. At the end of the day, I completely agree with @Kingston Rose that the most important thing is to avoid letting such an environment negatively affect your studies.

Hi there,

Some great replies already and I agree that if this is the right decision for you then switch. Don't feel bad for switching either, it's easier said than done but you've got this. Having your own space to focus, study and relax is so important whilst being at university and if the other two flatmates are affecting it even a slight bit then moving to a better environment will be beneficial for you. Everyone is different and enjoy doing various things so it's important to connect with people with similar interest but also have the balance of having your own space to have some down time.

Hope this helps and you get it sorted,
^Zac
