UWE Optometry timetable

Does anyone know what first year timetable looks like for Optometry at UWE? Like how does it look weekly with lectures and practicals and are there any free days?

@UWE Official Rep, is there any way to indicate how many hours a first year Optometry student might have in the timetable? Obviously next years timetable won't be written yet but at least an indicate of what the typical hours are for the first year on that course may be helpful?

Usually a low chance that courses will offer free days in first year (perhaps Wednesday, because Wednesday afternoons are usually protected). Even on my course when I was on 8 hours a week, those 8 hours would often be spread over 4-5 days.

If you take a look at the Optometry course page Optometry - MSci - UWE Bristol: Courses you can see the lecturers email address, they will be able to give you more information about contact hours 🙂

On the course page, the structures and features sections provide some guidance into what is covered on the course and how you will be assessed.
