Chelmsford County High School For Girls (CCHS)

Hii,
Does anyone have any opinions/ views on CCHS? I’m considering going there for sixth form.
Is it a good school in terms of academics and support for getting into university?
How are the teachers there?
I’ll be very grateful if anyone could answer my questions! Thanks

I know a friend of a friend who currently goes there but in the secondary school rather than sixth form and she says that it's definitely a good school in terms of academics (as generally with any grammar school) and teachers mostly support students well. I know that in my sixth form (I go to secondary school part of a grammar school) there's support for university applications especially for oxbridge and I think they do mock interviews for practice. Also if you're struggling in a subject, some teachers may be able to help you weekly at a lunchtime with 1:1 sessions which I've found very helpful so I'd imagine it to be similar to that.
I know that me and a few other friends are also going to apply there next year for sixth form (in y10 rn) and it seems like a good supportive option.

Hey,
So I actually attended CCHS from Y7 and am planning on going to Sixth Form there in September (praying I get the grades).
It is a genuinely amazing school, the people are great and so supportive and the teachers are fantastic. If you need any extra help or anything the teachers always help and even some of the Sixth Formers lend a hand too.
Hopefully you applied in the end?
