Depends what you think they did..
Craik and Lockhart did the LOP model if you meant that?
And then Craik and Tulving just carried on from that and said about elaboration:

(1975). Participants were shown a word and a sentence containing a blank, and asked whether the word fitted into the incomplete sentence. Elaboration was manipulated by varying the complexity of the sentence between the simple (e.g ' she cooked the...') and the complex (e.g 'The great bird swooped down and carried off the struggling...'). Participants recalled twice as many words for the complete sentenced. The improved performance was not due to the increased time spent on the task because some phonemic questions in the original study required as much time. Therefore, depth of processing involves elaboration.

If you didn't mean that, I'm not sure what you did mean..?
Unless you're not on the same syllabus as me.

So do you want me to type up what Craik and Lockhart did on the LOP model?
Or do you have all the info you need now?

Does anyone know how many participants Craik and Tulving originally tested? (In regard to the Levels of Processing experiment, 1975)
Would be very very grateful to anyone who knew =) Can't find it anywhere!

Thats wrong
Craik and Lockhart did do the Levels of Processing model
but Craik and Tulving did an experiment on asking paticipants questions about a group of words and the questions were about: Structural,Phonetic and Semantic words
Godden and Baddley did an experiment with divers and that was about cue-dependent NOT LEVELS OF PROCESSING!!!
