Mature Student Returning

Hello Everyone! I really need advice please!!!
I was at university from October 2017 to February 2021 upon which I withdrew from my course. My course length at the time was 4 years. Whilst I was there, I used the gift year, and a special resit year under Special Circumstances. If I stayed on, I would have had two years left to complete my degree thus being entitled to two years student finance. I am being allowed to return to a different university to start a similar degree on the 2nd year. My new course is 3 years long, but because I’m starting in 2nd year, my course length is 2 years. Do I have to worry about securing my funding back as I would have been entitled to 2 years finance if I stayed on my original course anyway so essentially I’m not asking for anything extra?

Many Thanks Everyone!!!

Hi Cav,

Is your course full time or part time? Just to clarify is it 4 years previous study you have done?

Thanks,
Claire
