Either - because no-one is going to care where you did an MPharm. Its a GPhC accredited degree with a set syllabus. There is no 'better' Uni. You get exactly the same degree at the end of the 4 years. The NHS is not going to care where you went to Uni - and neither will your future patients. Pick the environment that will suit you best, and where you will feel happiest - and if you think that is MCR, then that's fine.

Hi there!

As has been said, as long as your course is accredited then it will have all the right elements to get you qualified to pursue work as a pharmacist. Therefore, I would recommend choosing your uni based on where you think you will have the most fulfilling student experience. Have you visited the cities themselves? Which did you feel happier in? What about the campus? Can you visualise yourself being a student there? What's the cost of living and culture like?

It sounds to me like you're leaning towards Manchester - if you think this is the option for you where you will enjoy your time for the next 3-4 years then you should go for it 🙂 - as long as you are happy with the course then you should put your enjoyment and happiness first when picking a uni as this will make the next 3-4 years a lot more fulfilling for you.

I hope this helps and best of luck 🙂
