A Level Maths Edexcel Paper 3 format?

For Edexcel A Level Maths, the applied paper 3 includes Mechanics and Statistics. I understand that we have 2 hours total. Will I have to finish stats in 1 hour, and they will take my paper away? Or can I for example work on stats for 1.5 hrs then half an hour for mechanics? Thanks

I'm pretty sure you are given both booklets at the start, and they take both at the end of the 2 hours, so you are not restricted in how you spend time on either paper, just like your second scenario.

You're given both booklets and papers at the start at the same time, and you're free to spend however long you want on each paper and then they take both papers away after 2 hours.
