Work Experience and Degrees

I'm having a hard time as a whole choosing what degree i want to go into which also affects finding work experience. I need to find work experience for 24-27th of June as my school says i have to (I'm in Year 12). I want to go into a lab based job which helps the environment, but i'm not sure where to find that. Does anyone have any advice or help they could give me? Or any careers?

You're working the wrong way around. Find some work experience, and in general try any experience, and from that, work out what career and degree you'd like. Pre-university it's useful to do any work experience at all, because it shows you haw working life differs from schools, how working organisations operate, and whether you'd like to work in that environment.

Pre-18 work experience in labs will be hard to get if you've got specific dates to match. If your interests are environmental, it would be better to get some ground work experience with a conservation charity, surveyors, environmental assessment company or similar, and learn from that how the science behind it fits in.
