Guys what do we think of UWE? can someone give me some info on it e.g. cost of living, parking, transport, accommodation etc.

Hiya. I'm coming to the end of my first year at UWE. Here's a break down of everything I've experienced this year

Cost of Living = If you live on frenchay campus, there is a lidl and an aldi down the road making food shops alot cheaper. There is also a lidl in the city centre if you end up living there

Parking = Im not very knowledgeable on this subject as I do not drive but I know that if you live on Frenchay Campus you are not allowed to bring your car with you

Transport = Each singular bus journey costs £2.40 when tapping your debit card on the bus. This can get pricy but student tickets are also available

Accommodation = If you want an en-suite room you are likely to live with less people. If you want to live with more people you are likely to have to share a bathroom. It's honestly up to you. I chose to have an enusite and ended up living with 5 others and I regret not getting a shared bathroom because I would love to live with more people but each to there own. There is loads of info on accommodation options on the UWE website.

Overall I've had a great time in my first year at UWE. Hope this helps!
