Msc Advanced Chemical Engineering (Qmul, Imperial etc)

I'm currently in my final year of a Biomedical Science BSc and on track to graduate with a First or a strong 2:1. I’m seriously considering applying for an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering and was wondering if anyone here has experience with the course or industry.

My interest comes from a growing passion for problem-solving, process design, and working at the intersection of science and engineering. I’m really drawn to the idea of using my scientific background in a more technical, applied way, especially in areas like bioprocessing, sustainable materials, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

If anyone has insights into what the course is like, what the entry requirements are like for someone from a bioscience background, or advice on whether I’d be a good fit, I’d really appreciate it!
Hi @Sarps.

Which universities were you thinking of applying? Cranfield university also offers Advanced Chemical Engineering MSc. It starts in October and is for one year for full time studies. Cranfield is close to London, between Bedford and Milton Keynes.

I was thinking of applying to Unis in London as it is a easy commute from home, I was just wondering if I could get insights into what the course is like, what the entry requirements are like for someone from a bioscience background, or advice on whether I’d be a good fit, I’d really appreciate it. I really would like to pursue the course.
