Is linear interpolation in GCSE AQA Maths

I got a question that said to use linear interpolation in the Corbett maths higher plus today and I was so confused as I don’t think we’ve learnt that. I searched the topic up and all it says is A Level maths/further.

The relevant AQA GCSE maths spec is here. Under S6, additional foundation content: "interpolate and extrapolate apparent trends whilst knowing the dangers of so doing". From this, I gather than you won't have to know a formula to interpolate between data points but you must be able to interpolate trends e.g. estimating a value in a trend on a graph using a line of best fit
