well that would depend on how much you have to learn.

at least 4 hours, if not 6 or even 8.

8-12 hours.

3-4 hours, I'd say. That's for a weekend/holiday though, on a school day I'd probably only go for 1-2 hours.

Lol. I've just been thinking about this, believe it or not

25 Days before first exam.
4 modules worth of revision.
Planned 2 topics for one module each day.

I expect a first in all 4  Anything less will have me in depression mode.

So far these holidays I've been doing about 6 hours a day.
I still feel like I've learned nothing though ;l
I've vowed to never put a time on my revision. Putting a time to it is just for someone else's benefit. I know, myself, if the work I'm doing is sufficient enough to get me the grade, if it's not, I'll up my game until I know the texts inside-out/back to front.

But yeah, currently I've not gotten into my revision flow ... It's Christmas and then my birthday and then New Years, you can understand my lack of interest. I have made a badass To-Do list, though ... and it's very, very depressing - just what a To-Do list should be like, dontcha think?
Err, hours? Roughly about 5 maybe.

Is the best amount not just as much as possible? The more the better really...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Need to Start. :s-smilie::
Our Biology teacher said an hour per subject per day
So 5 and a half hours at the library should be enough should it? Plus, usually I get home and start typing some random subject-related junk into word while procrastinating on here.

What's the point in spending hours a day?

Revision should be that - stuff you ALREADY know and understand. You don't need to relearn it, should really be getting more confident in how to apply it. Just do like.. a past paper a day, or plan an exam question. There really is no point in learning reams and reams of notes because you'll never remember all this knowledge and will not be able to apply it in the exam.

I still need to start mine for my advanced higher prelims :s-smilie:
Anything more than 4 hours is a waste in my opinion. Revision is all about retaining information, you are going to struggle to do that if you try and take in too much information at one time.

With resits it's a wee bit different. If I hadn't have reviewed my Geography AS notes over the last couple of weeks, I'd have been right in the *******. :yep:

3-4 hours should be suffice, but you obviously have to break it down.
