My Alevels start less than a month away and I'm so unprepared

My exams kick off on the 20th May and I'm starting to like crumble. It feels like I know barely anything and I need 3 As for my top choice but that's not going to happen, they might accept me with slightly lower but not massively. Everyone keeps saying it's lock in time but I just don't feel like I'm getting through and retaining enough content fast enough. I have major concerns for my maths because Ive neglected it a bit this easter hols as my maths first maths paper is the 4th June but the last test I did was awful.

I just really need some sort of confidence boost but at the same time give it to me straight please how screwed am I and how can I at least sort of get back on track? How and when do you start prepping for later exams when I feel like I should be prioritising my paper 1s?

your not screwed at all (that’s if you start heavy revision NOW). your only screwed if you don’t revise at all. you’ve still got almost a month, make the most of it and you can still get those grades but it will be A LOT of work. i’m sort of in the same boat, im at ABC and aiming for all As. from now start grinding and we will achieve those grades in the end

I've only started revision recently too and I have A LOT of content to get through. I've also applied to top unis. However, I believe with non-stop and effective revision, you can defos make it through. Don't dwell on not starting yet, that'll honestly make feel you more demotivated, so head into revision with a positive mindset. Something that has helped me keep organised and motivated is keeping a checklist of the content and work I need to get through.

Keep in mind you only have a month left and then after that you have the whole summer to do whatever you want. this is a once exam. Once you're done, you're done and these grades can determine a lot in the future. Obviously, it's not the end of the world if it goes wrong but you can still LOCK IN now! Revise like crazy and if there's anything you dont understand make sure to reach out to whoever can help

Hi there,

I hope you are doing well! You are absolutely not screwed at all! The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to create a timetable for you to complete your revision - the hardest thing with revision is starting it but once you have got into a good routine you will feel fresh and ready to go! Lots of reading and past papers will be incredibly useful.

Hope this helps:smile:
