As an international student, what's better, Uni of Brighton or Nottingham Trent Uni, where are part-time jobs more available
Hi Ahmed,
As McGinger has said, 'better' is subjective! Both unis will have ample opportunities for part time and flexible work whilst you study, such as working in university cafes or as a student ambassador (well paid and a lot of fun, I'd 100% recommend this).
Have you had a look into whether these unis offer virtual open days? How about looking through their virtual tours? (Brighton here, Notts Trent here) - which uni do you like the look and feel of more?
How about the courses you're thinking of studying? Electrical Engineering degrees will have some bits in common across unis, but the modules at each uni will differ too, so its definitely worth you taking a close look into the modules and seeing which you find more interesting. If you are studying something you enjoy then this will help maintain your motivation and focus and make your uni experience so much more enjoyable!

Hi Holly, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and encouraging message—it really meant a lot! I appreciate you taking the time to break things down so clearly. Your advice about checking virtual tours and looking closely at course modules was especially helpful, and I’ll definitely take that on board while making my decision. I hadn’t considered student ambassador roles before, but it sounds like a great experience, so I’ll be looking into that too. Thanks again for your support and kind words—it’s made the process feel a little less overwhelming! Best wishes~ Ahmed
