University of Liverpool for A+F

I have firmed my offer for the University of Liverpool for Accounting and Finance with a year in industry. I applied with my top choice being the PwC flying start course with both Newcastle and Reading, but unfortunately, I didn't get made the offer. I decided to firm liverpool as my new top choice and I was just wondering if people think it is a respectable course, as I am aware that Liverpool is not really known as a target school and whether it would be possible to go on to do a good placement year at Liverpool.

Congratulations to your offer.

Don't overly rely on ranking and league tables. If you want meaningful inferences you need to go deep to see the relative strengths and weaknesses of the unis. But be cautious as some of the ranking criteria are quite tricky, e.g. student satisfaction. It requires some effort.

Your career prospects is decided by your capabilities but not the name of the uni.
