Only about 100 or so students sit the exams each year. So, there won't be many students on this forum who you can share study tips at all u,nfortunately.

I am!! how are you feeling for listening/reading paper

honestly its the best of the papers for me since i’m really good at recognising characters for the reading part. Hoping to get close to full marks to make up for the listening part

ah yes! listening is so hard tho and the grade boundaries are insane

The listening is pretty bad, but writing the charcters is so hard, i have learn like 700 or smth crazy and its all just random stuff

for the listening, something i always recommend doing is writing down the pinyin above or below where you normally write characters or even the english if you understood what it said, because you may be lucky enough that it appears in one of the readings, that happened for me and my classmates in the mock with 澳大利亚 and its so funny cause the invigilators were staring at us like ‘can they do that???’ but yes you definitely can. It’s obviously not foolproof but its great when it does work out

That’s useful tbh, I think i will start with the reading section, that way when it comes to listening if there is a word idk i might remember it from from the reading.
