French A-level edexcel oral exam

Hi, I've got my oral exam in a couple of weeks and I'm doing okay (22/23 out of 30) but I've just been capped at it for ages (I want to try and get 25-7/30). I think the main thing is that I hesitate a bit during my speaking, but I find it really hard not to because obviously I've got to give my point a bit of thought and also be mindful of slotting in high scoring phrases and grammar. Anyone got any specific advice that moved their grade up for talking about the themes? Thanks!

hey I have mine tomorrow I’ve had the same issue with stuck in 23 but ive never asked her a question (seriez-vous d’accord avec moi? Etc) it sounds like you’ve got all the good grammar eg subj, passive, pluperfect, conditional. do you have stats too? dates? sorry you’ve probably got all of these and this is probably no help but this is everything I’ve been told to do

to be honest me and my four friends all thought it went really quite good. we’ve been getting around 18-27/30 in mocks and it just was casual like a convo. one of my friends was unsure but she’s hoping for Oxford so is just stressed.
