So your
Revolut account was closed, without explanation, and you have no idea why it was closed? How strange.
I've also just noticed that above you wrote, "I suspect my previous Revolut account closure might be affecting my application
s." Applications, plural. Was this just a typo, or have you been refused a bank account elsewhere too?
Finally, I note that on
this page, HSBC define their eligibility rules as follows:
"Before you can apply for an HSBC Bank Account, please confirm you meet the following criteria:
• You’re not an existing HSBC customer
• You’re aged 18 years or above
• You currently live in the UK or one of the following countries
Eligible Countries
Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden"
Do you meet each of those eligibility rules, including being a resident of one of the eligible countries?
