The 6 marker was on the heather moors and the other one was on the retina and eye so there was no six marker on this

Did anyone else find timing hard

Probably wrong (because today was my first time revising the kidney since my first A-Level sit last year) but I said that it was caught in the Bowman's capsule during ultrafiltration and then entered PCT via transport proteins. Probably wrong though, and tbh I remember crossing this out but not sure if I replaced it!!

Honestly cant agree, P1 was tough for time but this one was pretty OK. My main issue was that I didn't know how to pick up marks on some of the big questions outside of literally just saying what the data showed

Also did anyone feel like the questions purely about information were practically non-existent? There was, like, DNA replication and function of organelles in a liver cell, but for the Paper 2 specific topics (e.g homeostasis), there's not really many if any pure information questions, it's all been applied stuff so far or explaining why something is the way it is. Same for Paper 1. Maybe Paper 3 will be knowledge dump heavy?

Yeah, I didn't get to do the second 6 marker. It's SO frustrating because it didn't look too difficult,😭 I'm genuinely annoyed with the whole situation bc I don't want missed questions to affect my grade. Paper 3 has to CARRY

i might be going crazy i think i got the right answer but why did the data for spearmans make NO sense? like i swear there was a ratio of 2 with a rank of 1, but a ratio of 1.1 with a rank of 2.5?! i might've just misinterpreted but i got so confused about how to calculate it omds haha

I initially ranked them as 1.5 but then changed it to 2.5 but back again idek. I ran out of time so couldn't properly evaluate

i think it was 2.5? because i went off the differences column and subtracted/added as necessary so it was like 8-5.5 gives 2.5 but still it didn't make sense to me?

I think it's about the actual rank of the data point (largest to smallest) - I think that if 2 values are the same, you take the mean of the ranks they would be (e.g 2 and 3) making the rank 2.5 (yes, as I wrote this response I've realised that I put down the wrong answer - well, I already knew, was just in too much of a frenzy to be able to rectify it)

LOL don't worry, for what it's worth I had to go through the same thought process and scribbled it out on literally the last minute. Shame that the question was so mark-dense if you didn't get it tho

Does anyone have tips for finishing early other than just 'being fast' (because that's not useful to because I can't magic that up in a few days - I tend to finish just in the nick of time when doing past papers, but that's not translating to the actual exam.) I might just take a toilet break midway through Paper 3 to give myself time to think
