Hope so - although overall you need an average of 56-58 marks for an A minimum as per the 2024 grade boundaries, so if you do good on Paper 3 you'll be fine

I think ill need way more than that to balance out the awfulness I wrote on paper 2 to get an A sadly

Not the only one don't worry - If you think about, if everyone did poorly on Paper 2, the grade boundaries will be lower, so it'll be more feasible to get an A when you do good in Paper 3

I really really hope so, but 2024s grade boundaries were already quite a bit lower than 2023 so can they really go down even more? plus ive seen some people saying paper 2 was great 🥴

We'll see - in my opinion, I don't think it'll be that different, but if it is, it'll likely be by a couple of marks - e.g. 10+ which can be made up easily

Any topics that we think are more likely to come up?

watch the tutor 2u videos and their model answers to past paper questions including advice and make flashcards on the key topics to help you store the info that you've learnt in your mind and make sure u r up to date with your models and theories cus that's a very important part and you'll get extra marks if you refer to models and theories such as Ansoffs Matrix, Porters strategies. And also make sure that ur practicing enough case studies along with their respective questions for paper 3 as it will prepare you well for the scenarios that could potentially come up in paper 3 and for paper 3 IMO past papers are important for this component especially as more exposure to case studies beforehand and past paper practice can help you when it comes to the exam. However, as paper 2 is done I wouldn't lean back on it too much as it is done and you cant do anything about it now so yh

In the pre release guidance it specifically mentions “the roles and qualities of entrepreneurs setting up music events.” So it’s a safe bet to say to revise roles and characteristics of entrepreneurs.

what's pre release guidance

Do we think boundaries for paper 2 could be lower than paper 1? think they’ve been higher every year but don’t think any paper 2s have been like that before, really need an a lol

I think A LOT of us are in the exact same situation, I have consistently been getting A/A*s and that paper was awful for me and loads of people the same, so I definitely think the grade boundaries will be lower
