erm i crossed my answer out as it didn’t look right help. i had 1.6, 0.9 and 8.9 as possible answers😭

Think it’s dependent on the exact conc given to you, should be somewhere around the 2.0 mark so if others got 1.6 in ur exam or very similar that’s probably right

my potassium manganate solution turned orange so i’m sure that’s wrong, the sodium carbonate formed a white precipitate at the bottom of the tube and fizzing and then when nitric acid and silver nitrate was added, bubbles and fizzing was made and a thick white precipitate! pretty sure i’ve messed up

Yeah same, did end up putting that as they have reacted they won’t be on main carbon chain at next step but for 3 marks felt like too much detail.
