the nature of economic conflict and trade-offs

how markets might create economic conflict and trade-offs

how economic policies and regulations might create economic conflict and trade-offs

the impact of economic conflict and trade-offs on the economy, firms and individuals

the extent to which economic conflict and trade-offs can be avoided.

We can’t say for sure but one thing that I Ik would come in the test is Supply and demand side policies for a 20 marker. This is because it did not come last year.

It is out of 100, 2 sections, each section has 8,10,12,20 markers.
It covers all 4 themes, but on the topic of the pre release

Guys what are we thinking about the grade boundaries at the momment. Usually its 58% for an A and 66% for an A* i have a feeling it will be lower, alot of people have found both papers hard

Honestly the paragraph number doesn’t matter that much, if your points are valid you could get 20/20 with 2 main paragraphs

The conclusion bit will limit by 4 marks I think, but I could be wrong

With managing time, I do it so I allocate per section of the paper, so I ensure I have like 55 minutes for both 20 markers, but as long as you plan it should be okay

Mate quality over quantity, better to have done 3 good paragraphs than 4 mid ones with a conclusion if all 3 of your points were decent with balance you could get upto 14/15 marks

Any predictions after paper 1 and 2 a 20 marker on Demand or supply side policies is a guarentee and probably poverty and inequality

If you look at past Paper 3 exams and compare them to the pre-release material, you’ll notice that only the 20-mark questions are consistently and directly linked to it. The other questions have a low chance of being connected—sometimes one or two might be loosely relevant, but most are only marginally related to the pre-release content.

Personally im going through the specification to ensure my knowledge is sound for every topic, and specifically in this instance im ensuring I can think of conflicts of policy or actions, as well as trade offs and everything else under the sun.
