written was definitely better than spoken in my opinion. It was basically asking to assess if scaffolding is the most effective way to help a Childs written language develop.
Mentioned Brunner, Vyotsky and MKO and ZPD, criticised it with Chomsky, Bellugi and Grouch and Lambeth, etc. Picked out a few inventive spellings and slapped them onto the paper.😂

I said he didnt under stand the concept of turn taking and he flouted the maxim of relevance and also that its due to him still being egotistical - no idea if that's write though

I tried to spend an hour 30 mins on Section A and focused the last hour on CLA since that was 30 marks and if I dont get the best marks in Section A at least CLA could save me 😓

the examiner report literally says students run out of time and don't finish writing question 3 like what??!! they are fully aware that there's not enough time

Anyone think the child language written question was mean or not normally expected ? Speaking about children being experimental which had nothing to do with the common theory that comes up like nurture etc so had to bring it into my theory, usually most years the questions alternate but haven’t seen the paper do this before . Anyway hope everyone has done well I think I managed the question affectively

i agree, the only link i can think of is pragmatics cus halliday has his taxonomy of pragmatics kids develop or something like that. i just wrote about imaginative play and halliday which is interactionist/nurture approach. also there was not one single thing to comment on in the nativist approach!!!! that is the best approach! and seth's window error was fis phenoma right?

That’s not a bad idea but I feel like the annotations also take forever

I didn't even bother with them this time. I just went along and annotated as I wrote the essay because I knew that would take me 30 mins at least

Our teachers never taught us written, they only allowed us to do spoken so that was messed up, i skipped the whole of question2 and messed up 3 so yw for lowering the grade boundaries x

why don't they though ☹️ Is that not in the spec? I mean if you learn one and you can't write on it you're literally stuck because you know nothing on written
