I’m so worried because I don’t think I included any productions of the Duchess of Malfi within the comparisons however I did mention the actors that played the duchess does that count?? It’s stressing me out

You don't need performance history for this question...

I swear I couldn’t contain my happiness I literally said yesterday I’m praying there’s a question explicitly about gender
What did you talk about in your essay?

Someone must have been feeling very cruel when they wrote that because why was it not even a debate.

guys what the HELL was the hamlet section b what i literally almost gave up halfway what does one even talk about

Reply 87

I'm done, Hamlet part b was the worst question I've ever done
None of the practice questions are like that
I'd be happy to even get 7 on that question

i did Wilde and Milton's Paradise Lost for this, but I'm scared I wrote about non-conformity to gender roles rather than the actual presentation of gender

same💔 like deception in itself is fine why did they have to add protection rubbish. and act 5 was the only scene i didn’t do in detail what type of luck💔 do u do ibsen and rossetti as well?

the question was about conformity to gender roles not gender itself so you’re fine

honestly i saw deception and thought it would be ok, I was even defending Angelo at one point I have no idea where I was going with that. I did paradise lost and an ideal husband and messed up gender so badly cause I do women in lit for paper 2 and thought I could do it but didn't talk about men once or the actual presentation of gender, just the women not conforming to gender roles...i think I'm cooked

the quote was gender roles but the question underneath was to explore the presentation of gender...so idk

Let's just say I'm not meeting my offer because of this paper. Awful hamlet part B question. I didn't finish a single question. My argument to part b was repetitive and lacked clarity and depth. could have improved overall expression. i regret ever picking english literature AHHH

someone in my class did the exact same thing (only talk about women) i’m sure you’ll be fine. but yeah i talked about isabella angelo and the duke but idk i don’t think i had a clear argument i was defending and not defending them all💔

Reply 98

Have they ever phrased part b to a specific part of the play? I’ve never see that before until today

Hopefully it just gave u a range of arguments and they are all good characters to talk about. Praying my gender was ok
