the only two poems for POTD that haven’t come up ever are ‘the deliverer’ and ‘the lammas hireling’, so i am pretty certain it’ll either be both or one of them with another poem because my teacher said it’s pretty hard to find a poem that can compare both. any thoughts?

yeah most people are saying this, but honestly that's a very narrow range and may be too predictable - so it's not impossible the exam board may start repeating poems from this year. in 2017 they asked about on her blindness and please hold, so those are more likely to repeat

honestly I'm going to revise all of the poems except the ones that came up last year and the year before, because they're definitely not going to be repeated so soon

Yeah, especially after that Drama paper, Edexcel seems to be doing repeated questions, I wouldn't be shocked if neither Lammas Hireling or The Deliverer came up

yeah i agree with u, i'm also gonna go over all the poems in case but with extra emphasis on the two that haven't come up, or just find the poems that u can def compare with to lammas hireling and deliverer. i'm ngl the unseen always gets me to im terrified for that.

how are we feeling for keats btw?

i do romantics b keats i'm a bit worried - not as much though. i didn't do as well in my y13 mocks for romantics bc I barely revised them since I was so scared for unseen so hoping everything goes well. last year's questions were really good for romantics though bc they lit asked about melancholy for keats and another poem so I'm unsure

Probably one of them but unlikely to be both, if they both do come up that would be a dream though

i think keats is generally fine, just need to know what the poem is about, the form, etc, and make sure you're able to find comparable poems, dont be scared tho u still got plenty of time to go over them

What poems do you think it’ll be for Metaphysical poets

Drear Nighted December has yet to be a question. To Sleep and To Autumn have had little attention aswell, my focus are going into those three poems.

praying its passing and glassing, or babylon the great as they havent come up yet, tbh most of the ones that havent come up are pretty good - other than froth, i hate froth:mad:.

i love passing and glassing, yeah quite a few Rossetti poems haven't come up because they keep repeating some of them

I’ve come to the same conclusions as you as they’ve never come up. But we’ve practically got to go over all of them since we need to compare it with something else, but yeah, I might just pay extra attention to these and see what similar poems I can compare them with. Thanks!
