It would be really hard to predict since there are 10 questions. I just hope it’s easy 😭😭

do you think that just doing vocab and practice translations is enough for this paper?

yeah pretty much (at least for me) but if youre weaker on listening id recommend listening to a couple of podcasts/watching some french youtube. i listen to l'heure du monde and also sometimes watch the youtuber evadaptable. this helps with like the general vocab that could be part of the 'unknown' (not on the spec) vocab that they have to include

What are some common grammar things that come up? Like they like to say 'ne cesse de...' but are there some other things we should know. Like the subjunctive, object pronouns? i never do very well on the translation so wondering if people have noticed patterns in phrases they like to use

for the 90 word summary questions on the reading and listening, do you know if we have to write a paragraph or whether we can cover the answers in bullet points?

its probably better to write it as a paragraph so that you can include more complex grammar structures and manipulate the language more (that's what the 5 extra marks are for)

i do full sentences usually but to separate the bullet points i do a new line for each point

Yeah I’ve noticed quite a lot they like to use an overly convoluted phrase to throw you off, even if the actual meaning isn’t that complex. For example one year: S’il arrivant quoi qui ce soit. For stuff like this I used to get thrown, but when I broke it down into smaller chunks it was usually much easier. Appart from that, they don’t tend to use subjunctives unless it’s like bien que or afin que.

Translation into French was crime (rehabilitating criminals), into English was family (single parents)
